2010/11 Season ![]() In 2010, British Cycling ranked Izzy UK #1 in the new Female 13/14 class. However, Izzy was granted special dispensation to ride up two classes and has raced in the top Female BMX racing class 'Championship' in 2010 and 2011. Minimum age is 17 making Izzy, the youngest rider and the only UK BMX racer with a 1XX plate. Izzy finished 7th in the 2010 National Series and 5th in the 2011 Series. For 2012, she returns to her own age group 15/16 Female. Other on track 2011 achievements included winning the East Anglia Regional Championships, 3rd in the Regional Series and a member of the 2011 British Team Champions Redman Rockstar. Other sporting achievements included invitations from British Cycling to attend their Olympic Talent Team Assessment and UK Sport for Trial Assessments at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. Other happenings included being short listed for the 'Pride of MK Awards' in the 'Young Achiever' Category and an approach from BBC researchers for CBBC's 'Friday Download' programme. Unfortunately, they were more interested in freestyle BMXing, rather than racing, but Izzy is still working on them to include racing!
