2010 Season

In 2010, British Cycling ranked Izzy UK #1 in the new Female 13/14 class.

However, Izzy was granted special dispensation to ride up two classes and race in the top Female BMX racing class 'Championship'. Minimum age is 17 making Izzy, 14,the youngest rider and the only UK BMX racer with a 1XX plate.

Despite this, she reached 11 of the 12 Finals and finished 7th in the 2010 National Series. This included racing against World number #1 and #3 BMX racers.

This success has enabled Izzy to receive SportsAid Grants in both 2010 and 2011, which will enable her to compete in the European and World Championships.
