In 2010, British Cycling ranked Izzy UK #1 in the new Female 13/14 class.

However, Izzy was granted special dispensation to race in the top Female BMX racing class 'Championship'. Minimum age is 17 making Izzy the youngest rider and the only UK BMX racer with a 1XX plate.

Despite this, she has reached 11 of the 12 Finals held this season and has finished 7th in the 2010 National Series. This has included World number #1 and #3 BMX racers.

This success has enabled Izzy to receive a SportsAid Grant, which has enabled her to compete in the European Championships in Norway in July 2010. This was her second event in Europe this year, having come 3rd in the International Indoor meeting in Kortrijk, Belgium in January.
